Zahra Bundakji
Zahra Bundakji [1990, KSA] is a multidisciplinary artist and independent curator based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The artist creates research driven works, visual ethnography, and performative essays. Her work is known to take on topics that inform an understanding of human interactions such as communication, leisure, nightlife, and non-monetary economics such as gift exchange.
She works with sculpture, video art, performance, and printmaking.Prominent works include “Refined Palettes and Painful Plummets, 2021”, at 21, 39 arts fair, “discharge dance floor, 2018, mutuo Barcelona”, “The Voice of Listening" at Noor Riyadh, 2022.
